I’m still kicking, guys. The trouble with doing a bunch of things at once and then taking on random commissions inbetween is that it seems like very little is actually getting done. …That and, as in the case of these lovelies, I completely forget to share pictures of the finished work. Oops.
You may recognize Sien and Selia from their previous incarnation. Well, I was contacted asking if I might be able to expand them a bit for a larger wrist. Upon confirmation that I could do so, the client then provided me with a most awesome challenge: fire tongues. Clearly I was all over that, and I hope everyone else finds the result as stunning as I did.
Pillars of the Triforce. No matter how long it is lost or hidden, there are always those who keep the memory of the Triforce.
Wanted to try a little something different, for I am an idiot. Of course this turned out far more complicated than I’d hoped and for strengthening purposes I had to backtrack a bit more than I’d planned—but it worked! Love those green breads. Too bad they keep climbing in price. Gah.
As for the name, well… the gold connections looked like pillars. I know, what a special significance! And, you know, 9 pillars, 3 pieces of the Triforce, 3 x 3… It made sense in my mind, somehow.
(It’s also currently for sale.)
Beadwoven snake bracelets. 2013 is a Year of the Snake, and I just wanted to do something a little simpler. Almost subtle, even! But only almost. I mean, I’m still me.
(They’re currently all available for sale: Milk Snake, Rattle Snake, and Green Tree Python.)
I don’t know why, I’m just a sucker for Shyguys. You can imagine how happy Yoshi’s Island made me, then. They’re bouncy and colorful and make delightfully terrible noises—what’s not to love?
This also happens to currently be available for sale.
Today’s featured item: The Nobody Bracelet! 1,264 glass beads and all of them shiny. Well, of course. And questionably without a heart, but this is another subject. The bracelet itself is currently 20% off through November 10!
Today’s featured item: the Maleficent-themed dragon bracelet! What can I say; I have a deep appreciation for the Mistress of All Evil. And you can show your own by getting the bracelet at 20% the regular price through November 10!
Today’s product highlight: Demyx’s Sitar Cuff! 2,037 beads and a do-over of the very first beaded design I’d ever attempted. In way over my head, back then… and not too much has changed. It’s currently 20% off through November 10!
Since I am made of forgetfulness and forgot to do a little product feature yesterday, it’s a double feature today!
On top there is the Tron Lives bracelet set, featuring 2,744 shiny glass beads, two Swarovski crystal buttons, and a scary devotion to he which fights for the Users! Currently 20% off through November 10.
And on the bottom, the handsome Nikida, a one of a kind dragon bracelet. Wings, claws, horns; you can’t go wrong with this guy protecting you. Also currently 20% off through November 10.
Wow, sold! Maybe this means I should attempt a similar style again. …If I can remember where I put certain things.
(Not that an appreciator of shiny things can ever complain about going through their vast collection of said shiny things to find one specific shiny thing.)
An old, battered peacock cabochon I’d gotten years ago at a discount really needed a new life. Add leftover seed beads, some wire scraps, Swarovski crystals and a band of super-soft black leather I’d been playing with and… results! There’s a little extra dusted gold detailing along the top and bottom, since… well, shiny.
I so needed to do something simple. Even if hand-sewing leather is full of cursing.
(It’s currently available for sale, as well.)
